Never Give Up - "No Matter What"

Have you consider giving up?  I know that I get those thoughts from time to time.  What keeps me going is I think about how far I have come, and the effort, and sacrifice that I have made to get to where I am at today.  I can't decide to give up every time something gets challenging.  Most of the time it's through those challenges that I discover knew methods of doing things.  It becomes discouraging, and frustrating when I refuse to change my perspective of how I do things.  I personally have failed more times than I can count, but it doesn't really matter when I finally get it right.  I look back sometimes and laugh at myself, because it wasn't so much the challenge that made it difficult, but my refusal to change.  God will bring me to the blessing, and we must make the commitment within that it's going to be ours.  No weapon, circumstance, person or thing will stop me from getting where God has destined for me to go.  If I have to crawl I am determined to get there.  Today let's make a commitment to ourselves that we are going to be the best version of ourselves, and walk in the flow of God.  We may face some challenges, but we will not give up.

"Your Blessing Is On The Way"

Hello Family,

I have been gone from the blogging scene for a couple months.  I do apologize, but I am back with a new passion going into 2014.  God has been our media ministry to extend it's reach, and moving into 2014 our goal is to invest in others.  I have to say I will never know just how far I can go if I am not willing to step away for the island that I have built for myself to live on.   I have realized something that I never knew before is that the higher you strive to climb the mountain you will have to leave some things behind.  Your friends change, your goals and perspective change.  You realize that most of the things that was important at the beginning now is on the back burner.  Life is really short, and this year I really going to press in to seek God for the power to access the unlimited potential to really reach some people.  Success is not about the building, the money, the or about how many people know me, but being granted the power, and ability to influence others and making a positive impact on their live.  Giving them tools to reach and obtain higher.  I want to ask that you join me this year in the journey to obtain freedom on a new level, and to improve the quality of ones life which translates into changing, and empowering others.  My commitment to you is to pour out myself into blessing you with resources, transparency, and encourage that I believe will assist you in reaching new heights.  Are you ready - let's do this.  Regardless of where you are today - Don't give up.  God has something specifically for you.   One last thing will you join me on Sunday, February 2nd for a event that is guaranteed to change your life.  See the information regarding the event below.

Armed & Dangerous

How do you go about accomplishing your goals starts with you mindset.  Success begins in your perspective in life.  You have to believe regardless of what you see.  You have to press forward regardless of how you feel.  David defeated Goliath because he believe when everyone else was afraid.  I believe today that I will accomplish the impossible not because of what people say or because of my past, but because my eyes are on God.  God will provide wherever He guides is the attitude that I have today.  I am armed and dangerous because I left alone thinking that I can do it within my own strength, and given myself to God.  My failures at one point in time laughing at me because they had me defeated; wanting to give up, but today I have made a effort to tell those failures that you won that round, but you will not win the fight.  This fight of faith that I live God has the finally say.  The ministry continues to grow; my media ministry assignments continue to evolve, and I keep pressing forward to be the best that I can be to meet every challenge head on.  Uncomfortable, fear, concern I am most days, but this will not stop me from putting forth my best effort.  Today I am Armed & Dangerous because I have God on my side.  What about you?  What are you going to do today.  Rise up or run away?  Give up or keep pressing on?  I choose to stand, and continue to press and do my best.

When Wrong Becomes Right

This past week God has shown me something within that I am taking very seriously, and adding to my tool box of life. I can take you to places you never dreamed, and do great things with your life, but the question I needed to answer would be who would I be representing.  You see it everyday on the news stations, magazines in shopping lines, and it goes viral on the internet.  People are afforded the blessing of getting to great places on the outside, but fail because they are not developed on the inside.  Sounds corny you may be saying, but think about it.  If God is going to do something with my life I come to the understanding that God wants me to grow in wisdom, and understanding.  What seems right to most people who are not in the family of God just doesn't sit right with me.  I have asked myself what am I going through God.  Am I being to hard on myself these days.  God can take us to remarkable places, but it's a place that the baggage in our lives can't go.  The luggage got to go or I will forfeit the blessing.  It becomes very difficult to rise to new places carrying around excess baggage.  I must say that opportunities for growth, advancement, and blessing is there for the taking, but who is willing to go beyond the norm to receive it.  Faith is a seed and if planted in good soil will produce an abundance.  What am I saying in this blog today?  For years I have operated in dysfunctional behaviors.  I didn't mean any harm, but it was a system of living used to protect myself from the world.  I had been hurt, misled, swindled, and the list goes on.  I had operated in those behaviors for so long that even though they were wrong they now had become right.  As I have journeyed with God things has changed big time.  I am believing that it's my season, and God is taking me to new places.  Great news, but as I elevate I want to operate and share God blessing with others.  I am letting go of some more baggage so that I can travel light.  If you are reading this blog today God is about to bless your life in a remarkable way, but what are you going to do with it.   Remember this that anything you give up for God you will get back 100% in this life.

"Making The Tough Choices"

Each day we are faced with choices that will change our lives.  Some more pertenent that others, but the bottom line is this.  If we fail to make the tough choices we will miss out on the extraordinary.  Sometimes the answer is before us, but we shun away the facts and continue to settle for less.  My life continues to evolve, and every so often one of those tough choices comes my way.  My innner man cries out you can do it young man, but my physical says lets stay where we are.  Business, personal relationships, my relationships with God, and the list goes on - the tough choices will come.  What are you gonna do?  Today I choose to be all that I can be.  I would rather walk in the dark with God than walk in the light alone.

Opposition

Dear Friends,

I moved to Wilmington, Delaware approximately one year ago and finding myself starting over in a new town knowing very few people.  My heart was determined to make this my best efforts ever as I had faced some disaster through a marital separation and divorce.  I finally learned to take my pain, and use it as a time of reflection to assist me in my efforts to restart my life.  In a short period of time through the blessing of God I have gain tremendous advancement in business, ministry, and my personal life.  Opportunities has opened up, and my dreams are coming true that I thought was lost.  I share my story today in hopes that it will encourage someone that has suffered any type of defeat in life encouraging them that they can get up, and begin again.  What I lost now I see as a gain, as I took the time to evaluate my life so that I would not make the same mistakes again.  What I found as my weakness now has become my strength.  My strength today is in trusting God, and knowing that without Him I can't make it.  How do I know this?  I know this because the pressures, opposition, and life challenges cause me to become fearful, and run from God and my vision instead of turning to him.  I have learned that I can't allow anything to get in the way of my relationship with God, and distract me from the journey that God has me on.  I only need to know that God will take our failures, and use them as the greatest teaching method in our lives.  If we trust God enough to get up and pursue Him, not so much our dream He will bring the pieces of the puzzle together.  God will send people, resources, and blessing our way that you never dreamed of.  He will catch you up with your dream or vision, and as you have the courage to get up and move forward you will find remarkable strength and courage to face the things that ran you off in the first place.  Will the opposition stop by no means, but my resolve and approach to these difficulties has changed.  How do you know that you are journeying in the right direction?  You will know because opposition will stare you in the face, and dare you to move forward and trust God.

"Are You Willing To Do The Work?"

Dear Friends,

The question that I ask myself daily is am I willing to do the work.  Am I willing to pay the price to get to where God wants to take me.  Some days I feel the opposition, and want to run and hide, but the God in me reminds me that it's only a test of my faith and I am to remain still, and continue pressing forward.  I remind myself that what I do not have doesn't matter, because I have God in my corner.  I believe we say this so loosely with our mouth, but there comes a time in our lives that we will be tested to see if this is really what we believe.  I realize more than ever today that I can not live a life that I have not developed on the inside.  The pressures of life brings out what lies within.  I am discovering something very remarkable.  True heroes face challenges, disappointment, failure, ridicule, but they rise above how they may be feeling.  They trust God regardless of feelings; the way a situation may look, or what the majority is saying around them.   We must pursue our dreams or vision with a resolve and confidence in God that draws the blessing and favor of God our way.  Finances are low, changes on my job, uncertainty about new business and clients, but who has written the script - God.  If God has written the script of my life I must trust  Him with where He is taking me, and how He wants to do it.  I write this blog today facing some personal challenges, but what has me motivated, and focused is that God is able to do exceedingly, abundantly above what I think or ask.    What's the bottom line?  It's God's show and not mine.  "Are You Willing To Do The Work?"  If we are determined to press forward and do the work our God will gives the increase in due season.

Managing Your Life

If we are not careful life has a strange way of taking over your life, and can began to overwhelm or run you.  I believe that the most challenging endeavor in life is learning how to manage the many task that are before us.  Work, children, projects, finances, and spiritual nourishment are all part of our responsibilities.  How do we manage all these different responsibilities without becoming consumed or overwhelmed?  Learning to prioritize what's most important is a great start.  I find my days are most successful when I address my spiritual man first thing in the morning.  When I feed this side of me it has a remarkable way of centering me in what's most important, and keeps me from becoming entangled in the areas which I really don't have any control.  Did I say control?  That's the place that I need to stay away from.  The only thing that I do have control over is myself, and how I react or respond to the things or situations around me.  The bible speaks of not worrying.  Worry divides the mind, and we find ourselves not trusting God, but allowing the things around us to steal our peace, and joy.  Daily reflection and introspection within myself keeps me centered in the things that are most important, and allows me to operate in a healthy manner.  The most definitive element of life resides in knowing when to let go of things that keeps us from spiritual growth and development.  The bottom line rests in trusting God, and understanding that life is a continual process of evaluation, and accepting whatever God shows us that needs to be changed in our lives.  Managing our lives is a perpetual reflection of self, and cleaning the areas of our lives that needs to be addressed.

Get Out The Boat

I think about Peter in the Gospels of how he was the only one of the 12 disciples willing to get out of the boat. I was doing well for sometime, but found himself beginning to glance at the storm around him, and began to sink. He sank because he took his eyes off Jesus. Every so often I find myself look at the things around me, and talking my focus off of Jesus. I begin to sink focusing on my struggles, circumstances, and obstacles, and forgetting about the great and mighty power of God. It a wonderful lesson that we can learn about keeping our eyes fixed on Jesus. God says that His grace is sufficient no matter the circumstance. I am blessed to have some wonderful people in my life that helps me navigate back on course with my focus. You can learn some remarkable things about friends, and life when a storm blows into your life. Today I will fix my eyes on Jesus.

"When The Enemy Attacks"

Life is constantly changing and at times it can present some fears. I have noticed that my circle of Christian friends has changed. It hurts at times when you think that you would receive support and encouragement from a particular group of friends who helped you in the early years, and now they seem so distant. It has brought some concerns, and the enemy has used this to attack my thinking. I want them to be closer, but we are in different places in Christ. I believe that at times God places new friends who are moving in the same direction you are because old ones has a tendency to become stagnate and complacent in the old. This week also presented some challenges with my health. I have been having some bad headaches, and pains in the back of my neck. One of the days this week I couldn't even work. I will be going to the doctors to get examined today - Friday. This had me down for a moment, but today as I was preparing for my teaching God spoke a Word that ignited a fire within my heart. If God has brought me this far He will take me the rest of the way. I will press on my friends in Christ Jesus.
