How Do You Obtain Success?

Everyone is striving for success.  How do we obtain success I believe is the question that many of us needs answered?  Everything that we go through in life prepares us for success.  The hardships, the disappointments, the setbacks, and the failures all play a part in us reaching our goals and being successful.  These somewhat discouraging elements actually does something on the inside of us when we learn the significance of pressing forward regardless.  They build character, faith, perseverance, and the most important of them all is when we arrive to that place of added responsibility we are prepared on the inside.  I have had more disappointments this year than successes, but what's beginning to manifest is the glory of God.  God continues to keep me, provide for me, and has shown me that it's through the hardships of life that He brings about new glory.  Last week I encountered a disappointment that was a crushing blow, but I got up dusted myself off and said God let do this thing.  All thing work together for the good of those who love the Lord.  Romans 8:28.  I want to encourage someone today that regardless of what challenge you may be facing right now it's okay, and will work its way out, but don't give up.  Success is obtain through failure, and disappointment not just taking a route towards your goal, and arriving without any challenges.

"Climbing The Mountain Of Success"

Where does the struggle comes when striving to achieve any goal in life?  The struggle is what is in the heart -vs- what's in your head.  The heart tells us to move forward, but our head wants to stay where we are because of what's in our head.  When I look at my personal life today I believe in my heart that God's calling me to continue moving forward with the blueprint God has placed in my heart, but my head at times is filled with discomfort, and fears.  Relationships, business deals, obtaining new clients, dealing with finances, and this is to name a few can present some challenges.  How have I managed to continue to move forward - it's faith.  One of the greatest revelations that I have discovered is that if I want to go to new places, or reach my goals I have to put my faith in God.  Where my faith lies determines how I will deal with the inward battlees that goes on inside of me daily.  God at times does not give me all the details of where He is taking me.  He gives me what is needed for only today.  It has taugh me that I don't need to worry myself with tomarrow, but just work in faith with what goes has given me today.  Climbing the mountain at times can be painful, tiresome, and frustrating, but I am finding that if I place my faith in God I can make it just for today.

"I Can Succeed"

Success is not something we obtain because we have an idea.  Success is not something we gain because we have money or social status.  Success first is obtained within a man, and then is displayed in how he lives.  How can we build anything without first building ourselves?  So many of look at success as having a business, or ministry - something tangible.  Never to realize that our influence on others is in how we live.  Think of it this way - the challenges of greatness or influence is never against an organization, ministry, or business, but against the management, organizational structure or individual itself.  So many of us fail to reach our goals because they only focus on building the business, but forget about building themselves.  The opportunities will come our way, and we want to be prepared when they do come.  Regardless of the size of the project we need to approach it with commitment, integrity, and a resolve that stands out.  It begins with our presentation, and that starts with our character.  We can be successful today, and it all begins with how we approach our goals by starting with the person within.

Emotionalism

What's going on these day? Well I believe that the adjustment to New Jersey is going well. I do not like the cold whether, but I do miss the change of the seasons. I have much that I have been praying about, and much that has come my way in a short time. With every blessing their remains responsibilities. This week I got a little upset with myself. I got caught in my emotions several times that took me out of the peace of God. I had a lesson on handling my emotions, and not allowing myself to get caught up in my past circumstances. What happened was I began to see a circumstance to develop that reflected a past situation that hurt my feelings. I immediately went into defense mode. Saying things that I did not mean, and finding myself losing my peace, and was miserable for most of the day. Now that I am on the other side of the dilemma as I look back I say OK Ken you lost that one, but I am still in the game because of grace. I have some opportunities that have presented itself, and I have made it my business to take them before the Lord before I make any move. I heard a couple great sermons this week that I believe God was speaking directly to me. Ezekiel when he walk through the valley of dry bones. He prophesied to those bones, and they came to life. I have some dead areas in my life that I am prophesying over and believing that God will bring them to life. Also I heard a remarkable sermon about keeping my peace. Both these sermons was needed as I enter this weekend. My auntie and I will be attending my daughters wedding this week. I am excited for her, and blessed to have a daughter that loves the Lord, and have a determined spirit. Dealing with my emotions can be difficult at times, because I love hard, and give much of myself away. What keeps me centered is the Word, therefore I must continually meditate, and seek God. I am in uncharted waters these days, and if not grounded the devil tries to attack with fear. What most important is that I stay connected to God, and allow Him to direct my life. He is in control, and whatever He has for me is for me. This is my year of extraordinary blessing, resources, and the out pouring of the spirit that will enable me, and the ministry to bless others. - Amen -
