Dear Partners & Friends,
One of the most important things that I am learning these days is enjoying the journey in the Lord, and removing my eyes from circumstances. If we base our joys on life circumstances we will be like a boat at sea. Over the last several months the ministry has taken on some changes that has taken me for a turbulent ride. My faith has been tested, and it has given me an opportunity to view my maturity in Christ. I must say that I asked God many questions. I begin to ask myself why am I questioning, and not trusting. I believe I was asking all the wrong questions when God was clearly using my circumstances to take me, and the ministry in a new direction. We at times if not careful get so caught up in our circumstances, and miss that God is doing a work within us to prepare us for something He has in store for our future. I thought of the children of Israel. He took them the long way to develop their trust, and dependence on them. As the morning of the circumstance is arriving I have learned some valuable lessons. It's one thing to be able to look back and see where God has brought you from, but its another thing to see where God is taking you to. Connecting to God changes our view and perspective of life. He is in control at every moment. Count it all joy is what is said in the book of James. I count it all joy today because God has used the challenges of life to equip, shape, and mold for into the man He wants me to be. And most of all prepare me for the battles, and assignment in the future. God has a plan and I must move myself out of the way, and allow His plan to take it course through every circumstance, and trial.
