Reaching the world starts with right where you live. I can remember thinking and believing that God was taking me to achieve some great thing. I was living to reach a particular destination. God has now shown me that the greatness is now in getting caught up in Christ. It's through my relationship with Him that our lives begin to touch those around us. The children, the homeboys, the work place begin to see the light of Jesus that lives inside of you. The journey is not a destination, but a journey of a life time. Along the way we face some storms that can be life changing. The wise man in the storm prays to God, not for safety from danger, but for deliverance from fear. It is the storm within which endangers him, not the storm without. This quotation that I came across this week from Ralph Waldo Emerson has helped me realize that this is not a journey about me. This is a journey about God. My story ends up displaying His glory, which brings others into the kingdom.
God Bless,
Pastor Ken
